Tourism New Zealand and WeChat Pay Golden Week Campaign - Next Steps
We are excited to have your business participate in this campaign. This page outlines what you need to do to get set-up to make the most of the campaign.
There are three areas that need your attention:

It is a pre-requisite of participating in the campaign that your business accepts WeChat Pay offline (i.e. for payments in-store).
If you advised that your business does not currently accept WeChat Pay when you registered for the campaign, you will be contacted by the Flying Tiger team to discuss getting set-up.
If your business does accept WeChat Pay, please complete the appropriate question on the Marketing Content form on this page. (THIS SENTENCE WILL CHANGE - WAITING TO HEAR FROM WECHAT PAY.)

Gift Pack is the official mini-programme in WeChat Pay that Chinese visitors to New Zealand will use to find businesses to spend at.
As a participant in the campaign, your business receives its own marketing page within Gift Pack. The Flying Tiger team will work with you to create your marketing content to appear on this page.

The WeChat Gift Pack mini-programme allows you to create special offers to encourage Chinese customers to visit your business and spend more. There are a range of offer types to choose from and the Flying Tiger team will be in contact to discuss these with you.
Some of the most successful special offers focus on encouraging upsell or cross-sell - a great way to increase overall spend from these valuable customers.
It is not compulsory to offer a special deal, however it is recommended.
