Alipay’s 2021 Chinese New Year campaign encourages Chinese Kiwis to purchase from businesses that both accept Alipay and display the Alipay marketing point-of-sale material. Like previous years, the campaign involves a mix of lucky money draws and instant discounts, all funded by Alipay. All merchants need to do to participate is register below and display the point-of-sale material (POSM). Flying Tiger will even send you new POSM if you no longer have it from previous campaigns.

The graphic outlines the campaign mechanics. Alipay users scan the QR code in your business to automatically receive either a discount or lucky money, funded completely by Alipay. Users can scan the QR code up to five times during the campaign, which runs from 1-28 February.

As a merchant, there is nothing for you to do except register for the campaign and display the point-of-sale material.
